Foley Sound clip
Here's a demonstration of how Foley sound is done and the basis of it. However this clip of Foley sound is an old time production of it being done because the equipment in today's technology would allow us to place it anywhere on the editing software and not need to be in exact sync, all though some exact sync is needed. Interesting clip, cheers for finding. You could add a basic definition of foley to your post above. Also, it's still better to sync as much as possible, as this means you have to manipulat the footage less.
